About fix-wp.com
AI-powered WordPress crash recovery — built by a developer who got tired of watching site owners panic.
Why I built this
I'm Marcin Dudek, a software engineer and founder of marcindudek.dev. I've been building on the web for over a decade — backends, APIs, WordPress, all of it.
The problem I kept seeing: a site owner's WordPress goes down on a Friday night. They're not a developer. They don't know what a PHP fatal error is. They just know their business is offline and their hosting support ticket is sitting in a queue.
fix-wp.com automates what a skilled developer would do in the first 30 minutes of a crisis: back up the site, diagnose the error, apply the fix, verify it's working. No ticket queue. No waiting. No hourly rate negotiation while the clock ticks.
How it works (technically)
When you submit your SSH credentials, they are encrypted immediately with AES-128 (Fernet) and passed to an AI repair agent — Claude — which connects to your server, creates a full backup, diagnoses the error from logs and file state, applies a targeted fix, and verifies the site responds with HTTP 200 before releasing your payment.
Your credentials are deleted from our systems the moment the job finishes, or after 2 hours maximum — whichever comes first. No human ever reads them.
The escrow model
We use Stripe's manual capture (authorization-hold) flow. When you pay $100, Stripe holds the funds — they are not transferred to us. The $100 is only captured (released to us) when the AI verifies your site is responding correctly. If the repair fails, we cancel the authorization and the hold is released back to your card. You owe nothing.
This is the same principle as a real estate escrow: money held by a neutral party until conditions are met.
