Frequently Asked Questions

General

How does the service work?

After you pay, you'll provide SSH access to your server. Our AI agent connects, creates a backup, diagnoses the issue, and applies fixes. You can watch progress in real-time. If successful, payment is captured; if not, you're automatically refunded.

What can you fix?

Don't know your exact error? That's fine — describe what you see and we'll diagnose it. We fix the most common WordPress crashes:

  • White Screen of Death (blank page, no error shown)
  • 500 Internal Server Errors
  • Plugin conflicts and fatal errors (often after an update)
  • Theme errors and broken layouts
  • WooCommerce store down or checkout not working
  • Database connection issues ("Error establishing a database connection")
  • Memory exhaustion errors
  • PHP version compatibility issues
What can't you fix?

Some issues require human expertise:

  • Hacked/malware-infected sites (we recommend Sucuri)
  • Custom code bugs in your own plugins/themes
  • Hosting provider issues (server down, DNS problems)
  • Domain/SSL certificate issues
  • Sites that were working fine (no actual error)
How long does it take?

Most repairs complete within 15-45 minutes. Complex issues may take up to 1 hour. You'll see live progress updates throughout.

Payment & Refunds

How does the "only pay if fixed" model work?

When you pay $100, Stripe holds the money — like a hotel pre-authorization. We can't access it. Only when your site is confirmed working does the charge go through.

If we fail, the hold is released automatically and you're charged nothing. No claim needed, no emails to send — it's handled by Stripe the moment the repair is marked unsuccessful.

Think of it like a real estate escrow: a neutral party (Stripe) holds your money until the conditions are met. This is the same payment model used by platforms like Airbnb.

What if the fix doesn't last?

If your site breaks again within 24 hours due to our fix, contact us at [email protected] with evidence. We'll either re-attempt the fix or issue a refund.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit/debit cards through Stripe: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay where available.

Security & Privacy

Is it safe to give you SSH access?

SSH credentials are your server's admin login — like a master key to your hosting account. Here's exactly how we protect it:

  • Encrypted with bank-level encryption the moment you click Submit
  • Permanently deleted within 2 hours (usually seconds after the repair finishes)
  • Never stored in logs or databases — only held in encrypted memory during the repair window
  • Used only for the repair you authorize — the AI only touches WordPress files
  • No human ever reads your credentials — only the automated repair system uses them
  • For extra safety: create a temporary SSH user just for this repair, then delete it afterward
Do you create a backup?

Yes, always. Before making any changes, we backup affected files and database tables. If something goes wrong, we can restore to the pre-repair state.

Can I use an SSH key instead of password?

Yes! We support RSA, Ed25519, and ECDSA keys. Just paste your private key in the form. For extra security, you can create a temporary key pair just for this repair.

Do you store my data?

Minimal data retention:

  • Credentials: Deleted within 2 hours
  • Screenshots: Deleted after 30 days
  • Job logs: Deleted after 30 days
  • Payment info: Handled by Stripe (we don't store cards)

Technical

What SSH access do you need?

We need SSH access to the server hosting your WordPress files. This is typically:

  • Root access, OR
  • A user with sudo privileges, OR
  • A user with write access to your WordPress directory

If you're on shared hosting, check with your host about SSH access (many shared hosts don't allow it).

Do you support shared hosting?

Only if your shared host provides SSH access. Many don't. We work best with VPS, dedicated servers, and managed WordPress hosts like WP Engine, Kinsta, or Cloudways.

What if I use cPanel/Plesk?

We need SSH access, not panel access. Most cPanel/Plesk servers have SSH enabled. Check your hosting documentation or contact your host to get SSH credentials.
